H.U.G.S. back in Dublin

H.U.G.S. is back home in Dublin after a long summer touring Europe. Grey jacket no.3, is unusable after so much hugging and had to be replaced by transparent jacket no.2 for tonight’s opening at the Molesworth Gallery, in Dublin city centre. The exhibition remains open until next Monday August 8th. H.U.G.S. will be taking a well deserved rest after a hectic summer. Thanks again to Mart Curators Ciara and Matthew for all their hard work.

Hello Berlin

H.U.G.S. is currently at Stattbad, Berlin, Germany as part of the MART tour. The exhibition is in an old swimming pool, very amazing space. Big closing party and performances tomorrow night, then back to Dublin for H.U.G.S. Jacket 3.

H.U.G.S. (jacket no.3) has just finished showing at “Space” in Bratislava, Slovakia. The jacket appears to be getting a good response, even requiring some on-tour repairs from over use.. Here’s what they are saying about H.U.G.S. in Bratislava. Oh how I wish I was traveling with you grey jacket no. 3.. Next stop for H.U.G.S.. BERLIN

Drawdio at BIORHYTHM, Science Gallery, Trinity College

H.U.G.S. at Shunt, London

Woo, spooky… One of the H.U.G.S. jackets is on show at Shunt in London this week as part of the Mart, An Instructional tour. The exhibition space is in the underground and, rumor has it, it is the last exhibition to be held in this location. This H.U.G.S. jacket will be on the move to another European location shortly. Thanks to Ciara and Matthew in Mart.

H.U.G.S. Workshop at The Exchange Dublin

Last Friday we made two giant hugging jackets at a workshop in the Exchange in Temple Bar as part of the H.U.G.S. exhibition. Thanks to all the guys at the Exchange for their help over the last 10 days!!! Also thanks to the H.U.G.S. workshop participants!

The exhibition in Exchange finished yesterday, however, you can still catch one H.U.G.S. jacket on the Mart An Instructional European tour.
